Stawberries!

Auntie Ing brought over this strawberry basket. With all the sunshine lately, the strawberries finally turned red! Afterwards, we had to wash hands with daddy.

Meine Tante Ingrid hat mir diesen Erdbeerkorb geschenkt. Seit wir in letzter Zeit so viel Sonnenschein erlebten, haben sich die Erdbeeren endlich rot gefärbt! Danach habe ich aber gut die Händchen waschen müssen!

Our neighbour Ursula has a Robin's nest! We saw the mommy and the two babies!

Our neighbour Ursula is having her driveway repaved to build a car port. Of course there's all kinds of construction equipment there now...so we were invited to check out the "Bobcat". Ben was a little bit "off", not feeling too well, but he sure talked about it afterwards to daddy!

Maia in Oakville!

Maia kam für eine Woche auf Besuch. Hier sind sie alle beim Grosmami zuhause.

Muttertag Geschenk - Mother's day gift

Das hat er mir in der Schule gepflanzt und gebastelt (mit Hilfe...)

He made it for me at school, planted a bean, watched it grow, and with help, created the paper flower!

New "dollar store" crocks...

...and a 50 cent plastic school bus. So far, these are the only shoes he can put on himself, backwards though, but whatever...

Neue Schuhe (plastik, vom "Dollar Store") und Bus. Dies sind die einzigen Schuhe die er selber anziehen kann (zwar verkehrt, aber macht ja nichts!).

Aunties! (meine Tanten!)

Auntie Ing, Auntie Brig and Uncle John came for a visit. We had a BBQ outside even though it cooled down quite a bit in the later part of the afternoon. But it was so much fun!
