My closets - meine neuen Schränke!

We're soooo close to being finished...we have nice wood frames around the closets and windows now.



Part of the furnace area is going to be a utility closet where we can keep such things as vacuum cleaners, mops, vacuum bags...

New hair...and eyebrows...

After a long and crappy night of little sleep, I went to the salon and got my hair cut. And styled. And my eyebrows waxed. So there.

Es war wieder einmal eine lange Nacht. Sonja schlief komisch, wachte ständig auf, hatte immer wieder die Windeln voll, usw. Also ging ich am Morgen zum Salon um mir die Haare neu schneiden zu lassen.

Tour of my school

I took my auntie Ing and uncle Pete for a tour of my classroom. I showed them all the materials we work with, the toys we have, where we read books and sing songs, and I even showed Pete where the mop is in the closet! I think they were very impressed...

Benjamin's Christmas school play

There was no crying this time, although there was a bit of a perplexed look at first when the toddlers noticed all those people in the audience. But as the entire Montessori school started to sing, Benjamin got right into it. He knew all the words to not only Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, but also to two other songs!

Dieses Jahr hat er nicht geweint, als alle Montessori Kinder das Weihnachtstheater aufgeführt hatten. Er war zwar schon ein bischen verdutzt als er das grosse Publikum sah. Er musste mitsingen, hat auch alle Strophen richtig gesungen, und am Schluss hat auch er mitgeklatscht!
