Benjamin is almost 4 years old

Ben will celebrate his birthday at Montessori this year. We will bring some cupcakes and the children will sing Happy Birthday to him.

Daddy's birthday with Auntie Ing!

Auntie Ing came for a visit last weekend. Mommy was painting the livingroom, and the paint was still wet in some spots, but she finished just in time.

Auntie Ing brought cake for daddy!

I had to help decorate with strawberries. And icing!

Daddy had to wait in the basement until we were finished.

See, now everyone is happy!

Auntie Ing brough Sonja a hat that looks like a cake. Sonja wasn't sure why she was wearing it, but it was funny!

Mommy and Sonja were doing "mei mei". She says that to her when she shouldn't touch things.

This organic chocolate cake with strawberries is so yummy!

Daddy's 40th Birthday! (3)

Finally we get to put all these funny candles on the cake.

When daddy got home from work I was already in pjs. Here we lit the candles!

Daddy got another present from Grosmami and Nonno. Grosmami is in Switzerland visiting her two sisters. They have teeth, not like my sister.

See mommy's new doors on the bookshelf? And the new paint on the wall? She said she's going to get new curtains too...those ones are just leftovers.

Daddy is talking to Auntie Brig now.

Daddy has to go to work so he has to open the present at breafast time.

We're baking a Swiss Carrot Cake for daddy's birthady. This thing makes noise. I like it.

Of course, this electric mixer is my favorite! But we had to move to the livingroom to mix the egg whites because Sonja Bee was sleeping.

Using lots of tape and this paper with the cars, I have to wrap daddy's present.

Decorating the cake with almonds. I prefer candies, but mommy thinks daddy prefers something not so sweet on his cake. The icing is sweet though, yum!
